Excellent park and lodges. This was our second stay at Penllwyn and will definitely be going back again in the near future. Standard of accommodation is very high, and even better this year because the electricity is now inclusive rather than being via slot meter. Park is ideally suited to those who want to explore the whole of Wales, with both North and South Wales being only 70 miles away. Nice and quiet if you just want to sit and relax. Mr B, Ely, Cambridgeshire 31 October 2010
If you want escape to the country, it was 1 hours drive and we were in a different world. Nothing but trees and the sound of birds, total relaxation, A lovely fishing pool to walk round, nice and clean and the dog loved the long walks. Will go again soon. Mrs J, Walsall, West Midlands 12 September 2010
This was a very lovely place, quiet and fishing near by was excellent. Everything you needed was close by. The perfect place to rest and relax, the kids enjoyed walking in the woods and feeding the ducks. I would go again. Mrs K, Alfreton, Derbyshire 15 August 2010
Would recommend holiday park based on overall site and facilities. A great place for kids, animals an added bonus the kids enjoyed the park the wildlife and the freedom of the woodland setting. Mrs G, Edinburgh, Midlothian 09 August 2010
What a great place to get away from it all. Wonderful lodge and helpful staff when we arrived. We did lots of walks, climbed two waterfalls, fishing and cycled down the canal. Some days we just chilled out and enjoyed the surroundings. The kids walked down to see the animals by the lake everyday, something they miss since we've been home. Totally recommend this holiday. We intend to book again for next year. Mrs F, ERITH, Kent 09 June 2010
Lovely location, a quiet park with super accommodation and stunning views. Great for a get away from it all break. Mr W, PEEBLES 18 May 2010
We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Quiet as anything with lovely views, and the pillows even were comfy, which is rare when staying in self catering. We loved everything about it and will definitely go back. Mr J, STOKE-ON-TRENT, England 20 February 2010
